The best of 7 final between Corner Brook and Deer Lake will not be going ahead. Hockey NL has
cancelled all HNL sanctioned activities (including the league final) for the remainder of this
season.
The HNL decision relates to concerns re: Coronavirus, and was made in consultation and
communication with the Province's Medical Officer of Health, HNL's Medical Director and Hockey
Canada.
In a release from Hockey NL, President Jack Lee states, "The welfare of all Canadians is paramount
to Hockey NL and as such we shall do our part in securing their health and well-being".
